Description

Some pieces of event furniture are simply functional. Others are functional and attractive. The Face Chair in orange belongs to a third category entirely: it is a functional sculpture that happens to seat a person, and the conversation it starts the moment it enters a room is part of what you are renting along with the chair itself.

The form is a stylized human face rendered at oversized scale in fiberglass, with hollow eye openings that serve as the backrest aperture and a broad, open interior that provides a genuine seat within the sculptural shell. The glossy orange lacquered finish covers every surface with a uniform, high-gloss coat that amplifies the theatrical quality of the form without adding visual noise. Under event lighting the lacquer surface catches and holds the light with a ceramic-like intensity, making the piece read differently from every angle in the room. At 49 inches tall it commands vertical space in a way that low lounge furniture cannot, acting simultaneously as a seating piece and a room-height decorative element that draws the eye upward and outward across the event floor.

This is not a chair you position discreetly in a corner. It earns the center of a vignette, a spot where guests will photograph it, photograph themselves in it and return to it across the course of the event. Pair it with bold, minimal surrounding pieces from our full collection of rental furniture for events so the chair can do what it does best without competition.
